Keith Farrelle Cozart, more famously known as rapper Chief Keef, is going to be at Rolling Loud California to kick off his summer tour. Hollywood Park in California is one of the most popular stages in all of music, such as legend Paul McCartney previously performing there. This year, Chief will be lined up with fellow influential artists such as Nicki Minaj, Rae Sremmurd, Post Malone, and Lil Uzi Vert.

Michael Thompson, who claims to be an avid listener of Chief Keef, says he would “love to see him (Chief Keef) sing Love Sosa (A very popular song on social media) in person.” Michael is on the Cape Football team and describes Chief as an “empowering and hype” music artist. Before games, Mike enjoys listening to music to get amped up and ready to go. Chief Keef's music clearly brightens many peoples days as he has 13.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Raised in Chicago Illinois South Side, Chief Keef has seen it all. Some other well-known artists from the South Side include Kanye West, Polo G, and Chance the Rapper. There are things Chief has noticed about his life and others that he does not approve of, which are voiced in his 2012 hit produced by Young Chop titled, “I Don’t Like.” Chief is notorious for not being concerned by societal norms and opinions by the media. He aggressively claps back on other’s comments of him in his song “Faneto,” where he describes himself and his friends sticking together through hardships.

The Chief himself will be on stage at Rolling Loud on March 15th. Tickets are going for around $200 for the festival and you must be at least sixteen years old to enter.
