In recent years, Crumbl has gained significant popularity among dessert lovers, becoming a prominent name in the cookie market. Several factors contribute to the brand’s rapid growth, even with its higher price point.

One of the main appeals of Crumbl is its unique rotating menu, which features new cookie flavors each week. This creative approach has a sense of high demand, encouraging customers to return frequently to try the latest offerings. For the week of  December 16 - 21 the cookie-menu spoilers include Pecan Shortbread, Cranberry White Chip, Snickerdoodle Cupcake, Frozen Hot Chocolate, Holiday Confetti and the Classic Milk Chocolate Chip. Crumbl recently started serving eight desserts instead of just six cookies; the desserts are predicted to be White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake and a Cinnamon Square Brookie.

Students such as Junior Julia LaCrette “believe the unique flavors and high-quality ingredients make the cookies worth the cost.”

Quality also plays a crucial role in Crumbl's success. The company emphasizes using high-quality ingredients, baking each cookie fresh daily.  Additionally, Crumbl's cookies are notable for their “large size and indulgent flavors, positioning them as a special treat” according to the company’s website. Recently, Crumbl ventured beyond just cookies with a collaboration with Dove, introducing a line of cookie-scented toiletry products such as body wash and lotion. This strategic move has expanded Crumbl's brand presence, reaching both food enthusiasts and those interested in beauty products.

While some students will drive North to locations in Dover and Wilmington to get a taste of the unique cookies, others disagree. Opinions varied as some students like Sophomore Lexi Cugno felt that “ the employees [at Crumbl] are rude, the cookies are crumbly, and the icing is just too sweet, I would never drive to Dover for that.”

According to Crumbl's official page, the company aims to create a “delightful experience” through its products, highlighting their commitment to quality and innovation. This positioning, along with their marketing strategy, contributes to the buzz surrounding the brand. Ultimately, whether Crumbl’s Cookies are worth the price and the trip depends on individual preferences and values.
